Shelli Spaleta was born in Jakarta, Indonesia and grew up in Bandung, West Java - about 180 km south east from her original birthplace. 

​

She moved to Australia back in 2000, and has been lived in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. She loves travelling too whenever she got the chance or when she thought it needed. Her spontaneous plan to travel across continents, most of the times in the past it was not planned at all. It could be after she realised there was a low stocks of makeup and skincare products which she needed for the next jobs she has been scheduled-in (at the times, those products was not available anywhere in Australia). The nearest shopping destination outside Australia is Singapore which is one of her favourite shopping paradise. She left Australia with empty-looking luggages and roomy hand-carry and returned in just couple days with excessive over-limits luggages (and expensive too when reached over 32kgs). With the extra 10 - 20 kilos of over-weight baggage plus the taxes she need to pay on goods she purchased to Australian Customs, she looked happier as to her it's worth it!

The turning point of her career was when she discovered a makeup/ beauty book by Bobbi Brown. It was Bobbi Brown's philosophy captured her heart and from that moment, she knew that her purposes in life is to help others to feel good about themselves. Although she started in makeup, however, she was interested in skin and beyond, as for her it's strong related one with another. 

For more than 17 years being a makeup artist with experiences from fashion shows, photography, weddings and formals makeup, she always put an interest to learn about what is beneath the makeup. Her first job was a casual makeup artist for Bobbi Brown Australia in MYER Brisbane City back in 2009. It was like her dream came true to be able to worked within Bobbi Brown. After that, she has been worked with other International Companies like Lancome, Chanel and Dermalogica.

She enrolled into a beauty college, completed her Diploma of Beauty Therapy and graduated with outstanding grades. She eager to keep learning on every chance she has to achieve her dreams to help others is now expanding deeper than makeup. She loves educating her clients, engaging with them and client's satisfaction is her number one priority. She believes, with a personalised care everyone can feel better about themselves. Simply because when we feel better inside, we look better on the outside too.
